Practice
Dr. McCarty is a women’s health care provider at Seattle Integrative Medicine. She enjoys spending time with and getting to know her patients, learning their personal and health histories to aid in discovery of the root causes of symptoms. She believes the body has the power to heal itself, given the proper support, and that it takes a thorough investigation to learn what that support should be, as it is unique to every individual.
Education and Experience
Dr. McCarty received her ND from Bastyr University in 2006 and a BS in biology from Auburn University with a focus in Marine Biology. While in medical school she received a grant from Bastyr University to study natural fertility therapies at the Jocelyn Centre in Sydney, Australia. After graduation, she was selected and completed a highly competitive two-year residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health.
Her practice is enriched by family practice experience in community health care settings, including a two-year Family Practice residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She is a member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP) and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP). Dr. McCarty gives health-related lectures around the Seattle area and has had numerous articles appear in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer as well as other publications.
