Dr. Chris Holder is a primary care physician and licensed acupuncturist with a special focus on treating cancer and neurological disorders. Dr. Holder brings a global perspective to his practice and has spent time studying healthcare systems in many countries. He has a special interest in consciousness, environmental medicine, shamanism, and medical anthropology. In July, Dr. Holder was a member of a medical team that traveled to Haiti to work on the reconstruction effort. Dr. Holder was a 2010 selection for Seattle Top Doctors by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.

Education
Dr. Holder graduated from Bastyr University with a doctorate in Natural Medicine and masters in Acupuncture. Prior to Bastyr, Dr. Holder did research on HLA genetics in Type I Diabetes Mellitus at Pacific Northwest Research Institute in the laboratory of William Hagopian M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Holder attended Seattle University and has a degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.
